SUV and Truck Loss of Control Reconstruction
The SUV passed tanker truck on a hilly, two lane road. Detailed simulation revealed the SUV driver was in full acceleration. Control loss occurred as vehicle was steered back into the lane clipping the front bumper of the truck. Prior to analysis, the truck driver was believed to be the cause of the SUV control loss. Note the opening view of this video shows the engineering simulation in wireframe which has been superimposed upon video from the crash site.
